. . . where are they now?
The retail DVD of the Live Hot Puppet Chat broadcasts, which contains all six episodes, as well as a bunch of bonus features, is still available by clicking here. It was called “Season Two” as a kind of desperate in-joke, since the TV station was being shut down and there would never be such luxurious things as “seasons” for Live Hot Puppet Chat.
Believe it or not, the Live Hot Puppet Chat gang did a feature-length movie in 2009, the very bizarre and dysfunctional puppet anti-epic Sword of Digestive Calmness. Click the title to investigate.
In 2010 and 2011, the Nintendobo character starred in two separate feature-length movies. The first was Only Interstellar Pinball Lives Forever, a morbid, whimsical ode to death and pinball. In the second, Summer of the Chew Toy Soul, he returned to his Nintendo-craving roots – only to be thwarted by his father’s cocoon of alcoholic regret. Ahhhh, childhood, how we miss you.
